So yesterday, Josh Ulrich, my buddy Justin Foose and I all headed down to Orlando for a trip to the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  We were prepared for a day of nerding out and good times.  It did not disappoint.  thought I would share some pictures from the trip here:

Our first sight as we came in.  It looks so good, guys.  They did such an amazing job on this place.

Got our picture taken with an awesome train conductor.

Our first real look at the castle of Hogwarts.  The ride inside of it is one of the coolest rides ever.
People in line for Butterbeer, which is off the HOOK!

That’s exactly how I felt on the inside.

First swig of butterbeer.  My heart swooned guys.  The kid in me was bursting at the seams.

The Three Broomsticks restaurant.  Wasn’t too impressed with the food I got, but Justin and Josh said their fish and chips were tasty.

These brooms moved like they were flying and the  braces were hold them in.  Really cool stuff.

The moving portraits inside of Hogwarts.  Really well done.  The flash killed the atmosphere and you can’t see them well here, but I was really impressed with the whole get up.

And probably my favorite picture because it shows the detail they put into this, for better or worse.  These owl posts have a nice lived in quality when you notice that they are just STREAKED with bird poop.  Lol.  It cracked me up.

All in all it’s an amazing extension to the park and the best version of something like this I have ever seen.  It’s gorgeous and I look forward to going again someday.
